The Student Residential Network provides access for residents on campus accommodation.
The wired campus network provides access to the Internet and to University IT systems, services and applications. This is complimented by a VPN service to provide a secure remote connection to the campus network from any Internet connected location.
The network delivers an IP (IPv4) network across all areas of the campus. The wired network is presented USP users as a 10/100/1000BaseT Ethernet connection on a RJ45 wall mounted socket. All network ports on campus can deliver a 1Gbit connection.
Note: All usage is subject to the IT Acceptable Use Policy, and must be for appropriate and legitimate purposes. Breaches of the policy will be investigated.
